With over 25 years of experience in Wushu Kung Fu, Giannis has dedicated his life to teaching, competitive development, and promoting the values of martial arts. Beginning his journey in 1997, he quickly distinguished himself in the field of competition, achieving top positions in all National Championships from 1998 to 2008. His competitive experience in traditional and competitive Taolu established him as one of the most prominent athletes of his generation.

Since 2006, as a judge, he has participated in all championships of the Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Federation as well as in international events. From 2012 to the present, he has served as the head of refereeing for Sanda and Qingda, as well as a member of the Judging Committee (KED). Additionally, from 2012 to 2019, he was a member of the Technical Committee of the Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Federation.

He continues to expand his knowledge through seminars and has successfully completed the Level B Coaches’ School of the General Secretariat of Sports – Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Federation. He holds the 3rd DUAN. Through the Sanda combat program, his goal is to help athletes build perseverance, self-confidence, discipline, and a fighting spirit.
