Profile
With more than 20 years of experience in the field of Wushu Kung Fu, Athanasios Roussos has dedicated his life to training, competitive development, and the promotion of martial arts values.
Beginning his journey in 2004, he achieved numerous distinctions in National and International Championships, establishing himself as one of the top athletes of his generation.
Since 2012, he has been active as a judge in all championships of the Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Federation, as well as in international events. In 2024, he served as the head referee in Interclub Championships, confirming his recognition and expertise in the field of officiating.
He continues to expand his knowledge through ongoing training and seminars, and he has successfully completed the Level A Coaching School of the General Secretariat of Sports and the Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Federation.
He also holds the 4th DUAN from Lily Lau’s Eagle Claw Federation, demonstrating his advanced technical and teaching level.
Through the training programs he leads, his goal is to guide athletes in cultivating perseverance, self-confidence, discipline, and fighting spirit, while promoting the values and philosophy of Wushu Kung Fu.
